While I’m sure we would both like to say we met in some sort of serendipity kind of way, stumbling upon each other going about our regular lives; that just wasn’t us. We met in a more modern way, through the flooded world of online dating. Despite all of the filters set, we stumbled upon each other and very shortly after, enjoyed the first of many dates to come. One baby, a new home, many memories and 2-1/2 years later, we took a weekend getaway to Hocking Hills. Touring the skies, from a tiny Cessna, a proposal was made! Now a family of seven, compiled of yours, mine, and ours; life has been anything but boring and we can’t wait to continue on this journey together. After 5 years together, we will be celebrating our marriage, in true fairytale fashion, on the grounds of a gorgeous castle in Northern Michigan!

enjoy the beauty of the island by horse, bike, or foot! (about a 60 minute drive + a ferry ride)
a combination of shopping, fantastic food, great wine, and breweries! (about a 60 minute drive)
One of our favorite things to do while in Michigan, is drink wine! Stop in for a tasting at this winery near Charlevoix.
